Hi, went to my wife's Christmas Party second year in a row they have catered it. I love their food and the owners wife is great at the catering part making sure everything is taken care of. I have to agree with the other comments, great hummus love it. Crab dip is pretty good, love the chicken strips and assortment of sauces, kebabs are always good, cream puffs with banana dessert is like most all the food I have tried from them: simple, straightforward, great!
There's a lot of great food in the Greenville area, but for the price, this is the best restaurant in town.
I have eaten at Adams several times and definitely recommend it. As everyone has said, the hummus is the best in Greenville and I have never had a bad sandwich. It can get a bit noisy but the food is worth it. You may have a wait for lunch but then again, that is the sign that you are getting a great meal!
I love that Adams has more than one option for us vegetarians! And my meat-eating friends never complain about coming with me. Adams is extremely flexible, also, and will make changes for you.
Lunch was my first experience at Adams Bistro and it definitely will not be my last! The country fried chicken is the best I've eaten since moving to SC. I was extremely impressed by the extensive menu selections and the reasonable prices!! Although the restaurant was full, it was not noisy. I have eaten at numerous restaurants since moving to Greenville and this is, by far, one of my favorites!! Quality food, wonderful staff, and great prices can be found at the well-kept secret and a gem of a restaurant!
The Roasted Chicken Pesto salad and the Hot and Blue Pulled Chicken salad were excellent. The server was friendly, knowledgeable, and not overly solicitous. Portions were very generous. The only downside was the noise level, difficult to have a quiet conversation over lunch. Have not experienced during the evening. Also do wish they had a wine list.
My wife and I have been here multiple times. Service is above and beyond and then there is the food. I would argue that this place makes one of the best Reubens in town. Chips are awesome. Wife gets the club sandwich most of the time, and it's large enough to take half of it home. Atmosphere is comfortable and the bar stool window seats are a favorite. Grab a praline on the way out if they have any left!
Both my wife and I thoroughly enjoy Adams. They have found a niche which includes providing ample servings of very good food for a most reasonable price. You are permitted to bring your own wine for which there is no "corkage fee". From a selfish standpoint, we wish them well so they will continue to do those things they do best.
My wife introduced me to this place about a year ago, and it is terrific. They serve comfort food without "dumbing" it down and offer nicer dishes without being ostentatious. Whether I've had a salad, a sandwich or one of their other generous entrees, I've always been amazed at how tasty and fresh everything is. The wait staff is friendly and very knowledgeable--they actually take pride in their restaurant and it shows! The pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend Adam's Bistro. Regrets? Just one . . . I wish I worked a little closer so I could enjoy lunch there a bit more often!
There is not much here to say. Great pricing, great food, AWESOME SERVICE! I wish I could live there! The wait-staff is the best of any restaurant I have been to! This is Greenville's best kept secret!
You know there is something special about this place, because no matter when you go, it's crowded. Unfortunately, that also means it is noisy. However...the food is outstanding, the service is decent, and the prices are low.
As an ex-chef, restaurant manager, Adams hits a home-run. Where else can one get a meat and three, stir fry, scrumptious salads and sandwiches? I've been told I am a real pain to go out to eat with because of my foodie background. I have no complaints about Adams. I wish they were bigger! I am amazed at how they serve high quality foods at such a reasonable price. I am excited for Greenville that they have such a superb place to dine! Wonderful food, wonderful staff, wonderful attention to detail.
I don't live in Greenville anymore, but I miss going to Adams Bistro a few times a week. I love the red peeper and gouda soup on Thursdays! The smiling, generous, and helpful staff reminds me why I love a small business, nothing is asking too much. They always greets me with a smile and can predict what I will say next. You would think that would be enough, but when I have my food delivered, they are interested in my comings and goings and ask after my nephew by name. If you want to feel like you are in an everyday oasis, this is the spot! Thank you for your hard work!
We have take-out at least once a week. Call ahead, never disappointed. These are truly great folks who have the formula down.
Their hummus is incredible! After reading all of the praise here, I had to check it out. I proceeded to eat all of it- minus one bite that I exchanged for a taste of my friend's chicken salad. It was wonderful, too! We got our meal to go as the place was overflowing- literally. People were eating outside even though it was only 58 degrees and rainy. I will definitely be back- and soon!
I recently ate at Adam's Bistro and loved it. We went for lunch and I had the pesto chicken pita and it was wonderful and full of flavor. Service was outstanding! I live in the neighborhood and will definitely be back!
Been here for 2 weeks on business and this has been far my favorite lunch spot!! Fast service and pleasant owner!
A rep brought me lunch from Adams and it was delicious, I will be going there and taking others!!!
I just went for lunch and had no idea how great it would be... awesome hummus and delicious salads that were filling as well.
The owners are delightful and always there to say hi!!! The hummus is great and so is the portobello sandwich!!! Just wish there was one downtown!!! I even call now and order hummus to take home!
