For decades, the Lieu Family has stood behind the extraordinary dining experience found in their restaurants- only the freshest and highest quality ingredients are used to ensure satisfaction for each guest. Since opening its present location in September 2003, Lieu's Chinese Bistro has become a popular dining destination in the Greenville area, and was voted one of the ten best restaurants in the Upstate by South Carolina Magazine in the fall of 2005.
I had been told that Lieu's was really good but I was disappointed when I took a friend there for her birthday. The duck spring rolls were bland and tough, the hot and sour soups tasted like fish, but the crab rangoon was good. My seared ahi tuna was of average quality. The waiter was friendly and chatty and apologized for the duck rolls, which we ate only a few bites of, but did not offer to take them off our bill. Since it was her birthday we were given a piece of chocolate cake. Overall the meal was okay but pricey.
Didn't know it was such a great place to have lunch! Surprised that same owners as AZIA!
Found this place on website before coming into town and had dinner there. It was pretty good, the service was better than the food but I will try again next time I am in Greenville.
Met a friend for lunch this week and as always the food was great. The hot and sour was thicker than usual, but still tasted great. Service was incredible. The only drawback is that the portions are too big! Both of us ate way too much!
in my opinion. Excellent food at all times and the chicken lettuce wraps are wonderful. Great for both lunch and dinner.
Lieu's has been one of my favorite places to eat since moving to Greenville four years ago. The Hot and Sour Soup and Lo Mein are two of my favorites. Great for lunch or dinner!
