Great People Watching
A great place to enjoy all of the action going on in the park, but better yet it has great food. The Shrimp and Grits were some of the best in the area...ok so they are a Lowcountry specialty not an Upstate specialty, but definitely worth trying.
Greenville's (not so) best kept secret
Perhaps everyone knows that the Overlook Grill is a great place to get a sandwich or a salad for lunch, but it's also great for dinner, too, much to my surprise. Sam has a great thing going with this restaurant and has a location that's to die for. If you're from the Greenville Metro or even from out of town, you can't go to downtown without heading to the Overlook Grill at least once. You'll not regret it. Also, the Overlook Grill is very family-friendly...the Falls park activity book for kids is a great touch that you'll not find anywhere else downtown.
Evening At The Park
Enjoyed a recent Thursday evening at The Overlook Grill. What a delightful evening. We noshed on a variety of appetizers, listened to music on the patio and enjoyed people watching all the action on Liberty Bridge and Shakespeare in the Park. A great place to enjoy outdoor dining!

This is a beautiful spot to enjoy a great meal and grab a great view of the Reedy River Falls!
