From the moment you enter Peter David's elaborately engraved front door, you know you have entered a place where dining is still an art. Soft colors, gleaming brass and shiny wood set the elegantly casual tone. Due to the restaurant's quiet ambience and spaciousness between tables, it is an excellent place for business lunches. The combination of an extensive wine list and excellent food, service and ambience help create memorable meals that have a continental flair with an Italian influence. That's what has kept Peter David's clientele coming back for the past 23 years.

Casual Elegance

Posted By JandW from Greenville

We have been to Peter David's several times for lunch. This is now my favorite restaurant in Greenville!! The food was fantastic, the presentation is outstanding, and the staff/wait service, were caring, accommodating and just made us feel right at home . . . kind of like we were the only two in the restaurant - even though there were plenty of people there. The seafood quiche and creme brulee, not to mention the bacon wrapped scallops. . . to die for!!!! Just outstanding in every area!! I'm a very hard person to please, but this establishment is the best dining experience I've had in a long, long time. I sort of don't want to tell too many people, because I want to keep it our little secret. But with all the assets they have going for them, it's a secret that's hard to keep!!! I absolutely cannot wait to go back!!!!

GREAT RESTAURANT

Posted By I & D from Greer

We first went to Peter David's in Aug for Foodie Fest. During dinner we were told that they have an Italian Night once a month, and now we have been to them for the last 3 months. Each time we go Lisa, Peter and Angie make us feel more like good friends and family. The menu has been different and keeps on getting better and better. The service is wonderful. We are never rushed or made to feel like we have to leave as soon as we finish eating. This has become one of our favorite restaurants and we will continue to come back often.

A "Greenville Jewel" is correct! I had not been to Peter David's in years and this weekend I was reminded of what I have been missing. Artichoke Fritters, tasty Grouper, delicious Gelato, good wine, comfortable atmosphere, friendly staff

On top of all this Angie, Peter, Lisa and Danny make you feel like you are part of the family. You just can't beat this. It felt like we were celebrating our anniversary with our extended family.

Where have you been all my life

Posted By Bernard from Greenville

I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I have lived in Greenville for 15 years and have never been to Peter David's for dinner. Foodie Fest gave me an excuse to try them out. First of all, the Artichoke Fritters Asiago was incredible! Incredible! Both my wife and I ordered that starter and they were so good we almost ordered a third! Lightly breaded, a generous portion served with seasoned melted butter. They were excellent. Found out later they are one of this restaurants longtime specialties and I think they also serve them for lunch. I had the Chateaubriand for my main course and it reminded me of one the finely prepared meals my mother serves. But the desserts...I had the fresh berry crepe that was killer! Delightful crepe served with chilled whip cream topped with fresh blueberries. My wife had Lisa's homemade Italian Cucidati Gelato (they bought Peter a gelato machine for his birthday some time back) AWESOME! Chocolate with cinnamon. But as much as I enjoyed the food, it was the personal attention from Lisa, Peter, and Angie that made us feel we were in a special place.

All of the Above and More

Posted By 4MGirls from Easley

I am in total agreement with all the great words that have been used to praise Peter David's delicious meals, great wines, served in a beautifully appointed decor that lends to the restaurants ambiances of old world Italy. A wonderful place to invite 73 of your closest friends to a special party, which is exactly what my sister and I did last month. Peter, Angie, Lisa and their friendly staff assisted us in planning the great menus, selecting wines, and preparing a very special cake which was delicious. Their warmth, creativity and attention to detail created a wonderful memory for all who attended. Angie, our gracious mentor made my sister and I appear to be the perfect hostesses. We could not have selected a better restaurant and restaurateur for our very special party. We will be forever grateful to you all. Whether it is a business or pleasure luncheon, a romantic dinner, or a private party, once you experience the elegant, casual tone, great food and wine of Peter David's and meet their staff you will become part of their growing clientele.

Simply Awesome!

Posted By David from Greer

One of my best dining experiences ever! Italian family culture including table greetings from Angie and Peter, excellent wine choices, the Artichoke Fritters are a must as an appetizer. The Penne Pasta Angelina (my sister's name) is wonderful and if you come on Italian Night fill up on Angie's Famous Meatballs and pasta. Just like Mom made!!!

FOOD FOR ALL PALATES

Posted By Em from Greenville

Entering Peter David's is like entering a European Chateau somewhere in the mountains or country side. It's hard to believe you're in a restaurant and not in a lovely home being greeted by Angie and Peter Finazzo along with daughter Lisa. Relax with a glass of wine or cocktails before entering the enchantment of a scrumptious "Night of Dining". You Need To Be There!

A Greenville Jewel

Posted By J. Everett from Lookout Mountain

Peter David's is definitely one of the best dining experiences one can have. All menu items from soups, salads and entrees are prepared with great care and with quality ingredients. The atmosphere is most pleasant and your food is always presented so aesthetically pleasing. Peter David's provides it's patron with something most restaurants do not, excellent food, a high level of service and owners and staff that truly appreciates your business. Greenville, you have a true jewel in your city, and it is Peter David's.
