Tsunami: First Impression

Posted By Food Critic from Greer

The food is good here and there is NO dispute about the culinary prowess of their sushi chef -- you can enjoy all your favorites plus a few interesting additions to the menu. However, the parking availability is so-so (depending on what day you go). Also, there is a long walk to get to this restaurant from the parking lot, so don't say I did not tell you so. To balance this misfortune, the wait-staff was friendly, unlike restaurant "O" in downtown Greenville. Moreover, the service of the salad, entree, and desserts were timely, unlike restaurant "O" in downtown Greenville. If you tend to err on the "conservative" side in your social-life, you may not like the "Tsunami" atmosphere. Ok, now don't get me wrong. Food and service are great; however, this restaurant seems to cater more toward the "bar scene" than pure culinary experience. You will definitely find dozens and dozens of twenty and thirty-somethings drinking it up and being stupid. So, if you plan on bringing your family here think again.
