Meet The Chef
Judy Balsizer

Bill and Judy Balsizer are the “Two Chefs” who took on a traditional deli concept and decided to give it a chef-crafted spin. From a young age, Bill knew that he wanted to spend his life creating delicious food for the masses. Judy briefly considered a career in fashion before shifting her attention to cooking. After these two chefs met each other while working at a Hyatt in Columbus, Ohio, they knew that their future would be in food…together. After stops in the Cayman Islands and in Orlando, Bill and Judy finally settled here in Greenville, South Carolina. It didn’t take long for them to fall in love with Main Street and soon they were exploring restaurant ideas. They noticed that Greenville was lacking a deli that served fresh sandwiches, salads, and soups, in addition to desserts and carry-out items. So, in 1996, Two Chefs was born.

Personal Favorite

I have yet to be disappointed - sandwiches, salads... I even cheat on dinner parties by getting their prepared items, such as salmon, to go and just reheat. Chicken and cranberry salad and soups are my fave for lunch.

The best lunch in town!

My favorite lunch place in downtown! The daily specials are wonderful..the salad sampler is the best deal. My favorite is the Pesto Chicken, Wild Rice and Cranberry and the Tomato Mozzarella! Everything is fresh and well prepared ..and the prices are great!

Salad Sampler Heaven

This is my favorite place to eat lunch because of the salad sampler. I suggest any combination of the hummus, greek salad, pimento cheese or chicken salad. Yummmm.

The salad sampler is the solution for indecisiveness- choose from a wide variety of fresh options from the deli case. My favorites are the tuna, pesto chicken, and Asian noodle.
